About the service
Practice Bookkeeping provides interactive learning exercises, supporting documents, feedback and optional AI guidance. Contact hello@practicebookkeeping.com for help, complaints or questions about these terms.
This is educational practice, not a service for maintaining real business accounts, tax advice or an accredited qualification. XP and career milestones are learning features, not professional credentials. Our original exercises reference published topics and workflows; Xero and AAT do not endorse or certify this service.
Your account and access
Keep your login details secure and provide an email address you can access. Your account is for your own learning. Do not share access, resell our content, attempt to bypass access controls or deliberately disrupt the service. Do not enter confidential client information.
The first 3 introductory exercises are free. You are not automatically charged after completing them. Exercises unlock in sequence, and there is no daily exercise limit. You need an internet connection and a current browser with JavaScript and storage enabled for account features.
Subscriptions and payment
Full access costs £27 every three months or £72 per year, paid in advance in GBP. These are the total subscription prices; no VAT is added. Each plan renews automatically for the same period until cancelled. The amount and plan are shown in Stripe before you pay.
Both plans include the available full library, Penny’s guidance, daily challenges and their archive, and at least one new library exercise each week while subscribed. AI questions have usage limits to keep the service available; these do not limit how many exercises you can complete. Access begins after successful payment. If a payment fails, you may need to update it before full access resumes.
We will tell you about changes to subscription prices before they apply to a renewal, so you can choose whether to continue. Price changes do not alter a period you have already paid for.
Cancellation and refunds
To stop future renewals, open Your account → Manage subscription and cancel in Stripe. Your access continues until the end of the paid period. You can also contact hello@practicebookkeeping.com if you need help or cannot access your account. Cancellation of renewal does not itself request a refund or delete your progress.
If you are a UK consumer, you have a 14-day cooling-off period when you first enter the paid contract. Contact us within that period to exercise your cancellation right. We do not ask you to waive that right simply by starting an exercise. We will return any refund due to the original payment method within the applicable legal time limit, normally 14 days after your cancellation notice.
Outside that period, contact us about billing mistakes, access problems or refund requests. Your statutory remedies for a service or digital content that is faulty or not as described remain available. These terms do not exclude refunds or other rights required by law.
Optional cancellation notice
You can copy this into an email to hello@practicebookkeeping.com. You do not have to use this format or give a reason.

Learning content and acceptable use
You may use our exercises and materials for your personal learning. Do not reproduce or distribute the library commercially without permission. Third-party marks and images belong to their owners.
We aim to provide accurate, useful exercises and fix reported errors. Penny’s AI answers can be incorrect; check them against the exercise guidance and feedback. We do not guarantee a particular exam result, job, income or level of professional competence.
Availability and changes
We may update content, improve features and perform maintenance. If a significant problem affects paid access, contact us so we can put it right and address any applicable remedy. If we need to suspend an account for misuse, we will explain why where it is reasonable and lawful to do so. We will not use changes to these terms to remove your statutory rights or retrospectively change a price already paid.
Nothing here limits liability where the law does not permit that, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain applicable.
